Multi-award winner Hip Hop artiste Mwila Musonda popularly known as Slapdee recently featured on “Money FM” on which he disclosed the mount he spent on his “Lituation” project. The rapper revealed he spent about K300 000 in total on the project.
Slapdee narrates he had to fly Patoranking from Germany where he was on tour in Business Class at about $7000 to South Africa. He also had to fly his Manager from Lagos to Lusaka at about K11 000 return ticket.
For the music video, he paid Justin Campose about $8000 just for directing and producing it. The rapper also talked about the importance of selling music on digital platforms during the Interview at Money FM.
He further emphasizes that local artists need to be paid enough for them to sustain and make quality music
