It took me long to find the love of my life – James Sakala

WHOEVER said life begins at 40, probably met Zambian Folk music artiste James Sakala who began a new life at the age of 40.

Sakala who married two months ago at the age of 40 has so far appreciated the new journey.

He noted that his age has massively contributed to what he believes will be a successful marriage with his sweetheart whom he has known since 2013.

Appearing on Power TV on Tuesday, the artiste shared that he took long to find the one whom his soul would love.

The artiste believes that one should experience life more before taking the sacred step of walking down the aisle.

“Marriage life is good, it’s fantastic, it’s a beautiful thing, they used to lie to us that marriage is a trap, all those things we hear, marriage keeps you grounded. It makes you mature, I have matured in the last two months I married. Age in marriage matters. I married at 40 and it has helped a lot in this status I have attained,” he advised.

“If you are 21, I can’t advise you to get married, you are still discovering yourself. A lot of people rush for sex in marriage. Play first, the things that make a marriage stronger and the things that break a marriage doesn’t matter how long, If you cheat after 35 years of marriage it can still break and if you cheat two months after marriage you can still break up.”

“I have known my wife since 2013 but I didn’t know that she was the one and I looked at her this one morning and it happened.”
