Kanji becomes first female president of Africa Military Law Forum
MULTI talented Deputy Director Army Legal Services, lawyer and gospel singer Mwizukanji Namwawa popularly known as Kanji has been elected as president of the Africa Military Law Forum.
Namwawa, becomes the first woman to ever hold the highest position in the Africa Military Law Forum.
Her new role was unveiled yesterday at the Intercontinental Hotel in Lusaka during the closing ceremony of the Forum.
Kanji is mostly known for her hit song Chi Daddy in which she featured dancehall star General Ozzy back in good old days.
She also boasts of 16 years of standing as a legal practitioner and holds a post graduate diploma in legislative drafting from the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education (ZIALE).
She graduated as best student in Master of Laws in Constitutional and Administrative Law programme at the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) through the Zambia Air Force Centre of Advanced Learning last year.
