WOMEN ARE NEVER DESRUPTIVE IN MY CAREER

I treat everyone who loves my music as fans and friends- Vinchenzo

BY [ALF]

Artist Vinchenzo M’bale is this Thursday set to release a single titled Jehova.

The song which has been highly marketed will feature Slapdee and International artist Yo Maps Yo

While the Zambian music population believes that Vinchenzo’s career blueprint is alcohol, he has taken a slight major twist by talking about God.

He says Jehova is more of a gospel song where he is asking God to fight his battles.
“Jehova is more of a gospel song where I asked God to fight my battles on my behalf, a song where I ask God to give me knowledge & strength just like he gave Solomon & Samson” He told Alf in an interview on Tuesday.

Meanwhile the artist has reiterated that despite people talking about his urge to sing about alcohol, all he does is promote mental health awareness.

“I advocate for mental health awareness if you really pay attention to my messages in all my alcohol songs only that I make it a bit more interesting for easy marketing purposes then when awareness is raised at least everyone can talk about their own problems that leads them to drug abuse for a start.” He explained.

Vinchenzo whose real name is Vincent Daka started recording music in 2013 while still in high school.

“But I settled for a musical career fully in 2016 after watching the Empire TV show series and the motivation I got from the artist I was meeting like Bobby East, Mr stash, Nezlong, Macky 2, Slapdee & Chef locally but internationally Drake, Nasty c, Casper Nyovest and few other individuals did it for me.” He said.

Asked about the spotlight and women in the way of his career, the artist explained that he has always taken everyone amazed by his works as fans and followers.

He backed it up by indicating that he respects his fans but loves to keep his life private.

And when interviewed about music beyond borders Vinchenzo said the Zambian music industry isn’t doing much.

“We have big artists doing massive works but our industry doesn’t give us the opportunity to penetrate through the international market because of how difficult it is to get our own monetized even by the ZAMCOPS company plus we have little knowledge about international distribution companies such as Spotify, Apple Music, Audio Mark etc.” He lamented.

Depending on the type of an event Vinchenzo charges slightly over K20, 000 for bookings.

He thrives to remain relevant in the industry by learning and taking risks, to deal with new challenges.

He places emphasis on hard work and mastering the politics of the industry and putting every plan in the hands of the almighty God.
