RED Linso (James Banda) making his return to music scene.

RED Linso (James Banda) is making his return to music over a decade since he last dominated the airwaves with his uniquely-styled “chin-chin” hip-hop genre.

But unlike his initial introduction in the early 2000s, his return to the mic seems more of an edge to please both him and his fanbase.

“I miss the stage, I miss my fans, I miss the interactions”, he opens up during an interview with the Weekend Mail in Lusaka.

“I think the reason I do music is, it’s therapeutic for me. I think that was the biggest inspiration that made me do music. It was because it made me feel like I was letting myself out there with the society and me staying away from the stage, the interaction and giving out what I feel, sharing my moments with people kind of alienated myself from myself,” he explains.

Although time has elapsed since his last active music days, he himself has not changed much with his traditional snapback cap carefully housing a stocky collection of dreadlocks and the medium-sized beard ever-so prominent.
