Sampa The Great, a poet and rapper delivered a day ago her long-awaited sophomore full-length Album “As Above So Below“, and was absolutely worth the wait, and one of this week’s best releases via Loma Vista Recordings.
It features a number of guest appearances from the likes of Angélique Kidjo, Denzel Curry, Joey Bada$$, Kojey Radical, WITCH, Chef 187, Tio Nason and Sampa’s own sister Mwanjé.
Although Sampa The Great spends more of her time in Australia were she is based, did you know that her entire album was produced here in Zambia by Mag44, Sam Nyambe, Sammy Masta,Solomon Plate And Powers Pleasant.
Mixing and mastering on the was done from engineers with the likes of Ben Blazer, Neal H Pogue and Mike. These people surely deserve credit for such a breathtaking production.
