Sanders Fitz Chonta (born on 20 May 1996), known professionally as ChontaFrass is a Zambian deejay, singer, rapper and songwriter.
Born in Lusaka, Chibolya and grew up partly in Mwenshakembe Village off Mumbwa Road with grandmother (2000 – 2010) and Malawi, Blantyre (2011 -2016).
As young as seven years old, Sanders trained himself as a vocalist and performer and ChontaFrass continued to follow his musical calling.
Unlike all other artistes ChontaFrass has never sung in a choir nor taught by others on how to compose rhymes.
ChontaFrass cites the music of Petersen and the great late Joe Chibangu as an early influence.
In the first year of secondary school he started writing songs and sell out to fellow students. After receiving a great positive reaction towards his lyrics,
The self claimed “Youngest, Baddest, Realest” started taking music serious.
In late months of 2016 the artiste left Malawi for Zambia, so far he has worked with House Music Studios and G-Show Records. Currently the ‘patwah’
spitting dancehall star has released songs such “Murder Dem” , “Weekend” and “Just Don’t Know”. He promises more good songs from his own style and creativity.
ChontaFrass is also working with a producer from Greece on his forthcoming mix tape that will also feature local producers and artists.
