Koffi Show Organizers Apologies For His Late Performance

…Explains Koffi’s delayed performance, vows to improve the experience in future shows and play a huge role in opening Zambia to tourism!

Remarkable entertainment limited Chief Executive Officer Mark Mubalama has thanked Zambians and other international patrons who attended the African Music, Arts and Food Festival at the Lusaka Show Grounds on Friday.

“The previous turnout was a success you know Koffi loves Zambia and he has never disappointed and we would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one who attended the show I know it was not 100 percent as we expected there were a few hiccups here and there but the show was a success.” He said.

Further, Mark has on behalf of the company apologized for Koffi’s delayed performance.

He explained that the Rhumba Maestro was supposed to perform at 23:00hrs, but the person who had access to his holding room was held outside because of traffic and a huge crowed that was supposed to enter.

He has however reiterated that his company always endeavors to give Zambians a great experience.

He says he appreciates feedback from everyone after the show, further expressing excitement for those who enjoyed the show.

Remarkable Entertainments Limited is a Zambian Owned Company established in 2017.

Prior to its establishment, proprietor Mark was working in Namibia where he had been co-promoting musicians, The Revolution from South Africa and many more.

“The reason why I went into music is because I love hosting people, I love being around people. It is something good.” He explained.

The first event that his company held featured Fally Ipupa, Mafikizolo and DJ Maphorisa all in one day at Queens Mead stadium in Lusaka.

He further Hosted Koffi Olomide backed by local Artists such as Mampi, Slap Dee, and many more. He extended the same at Mindolo Dam on the Copperbelt.

Mark has internationally hosted Ferré Gola in Lubumbashi.

He said he brought Koffi back to Zambia due to popular demand, adding that he too wanted to visit the country because he missed it.

“ We just didn’t have enough sponsors but if we had , we were planning to have this show big because this is just the beginning , we want to open Zambia to tourism … we want the world to know about Zambia because am personally a traveler .” He explained.

“Whenever you are in a country like Germany or you are in Denmark as far as Sweden people ask where Zambia is… So we want to open the doors for Zambia” He added.

Meanwhile Mark has thanked government through the Ministry of Tourism for creating an enabling environment for the success of the show.

He says he will always work with the Ministry of Tourism in opening doors in the tourism sector.

Previously Minister of Tourism Rodney Sikumba had called on young people to take advantage of opportunities available in the Tourism sector.

And Mark has reiterated that entrepreneurs must seize opportunities in the tourism sector and contribute towards increasing the country’s GDP.

He explained that apart from Mining and construction, there is a lot of revenue generation in entertainment.

“After Koffi, the next artist is a big supprise, like I said we want to open doors for Zambia … so there is a big artist coming to Zambia!” He said.
