Sydney Phiri known in the music cycle as “Esii” has announced his departure from Nexus Music promotion as he embarks on another journey to find new opportunities for his musical journey.
Known for hits such as ‘Nakangiwa’ and ‘No regrets’ it is no hidden fact that the artiste is a marvel to listen to, especially if you are into the slow, smooth RnB and jazz kind of music.
Esii joined Nexus Entertainment in 2021, Esii was signed with Nexus Entertainment where he released his single, “Nakangiwa” and continued making good music under the record label with the recent song being “Ni Uze”
However the artiste issued a statement to announce his departure expressing gratitude to Nexus Entertainment.
“I have nothing but utmost gratitude and appreciation for everything that Nexus Entertainment has done for Me and my brand, Esii Music.”
“Am writing this to officially announce my departure from the Label. I believe the future holds more opportunities and am so excited and eager to explore and find myself a sit on a different table,” Esii disclosed.
Nexus Music Entertainment has been well known for managing some of the biggest names in the Zambian music industry such as Chefy 187, Towela Kaira, Jemax, Chanda na Kay, Xaven, Wezi among others of which some have also left the record label.
