Press statement by the civil service commission on the recruitment of 11,276 health workers lusaka, thursday, July, 2022 – i am pleased to update you the media and the nation at large on the recruitment process of the 11,276 health workers.
in our last joint press statement by the civil service commission and the teaching service commission on the recruitment of health workers and teachers, it was indicated that the names of the successful candidates to fill health positions would be published on 22nd july, 2022.
after the verification of the provincial consolidated lists of selected candidates. however, on the backdrop that the response to the advertised positions was overwhelming having received one hundred thirty-seven thousand. one hundred and twenty-nine (137,129) applications.
the process is going on very well and the progress made thus far is monumental. to ensure that the right candidates are selected, more processes are undertaken in this particular work. in this regard, i wish to inform you that the national technical committee is still validating the submissions from the respective provincial human resource management committees in this regard.
it is envisaged that the process will be completed in the course of next week. therefore, the publication of names for successful candidates will be on friday, 29th july, 2022.
