ANGELA NYIRENDA, GENERAL OZZY, MOSES SAKALA, CHAMANYAZI AND LEO TO HEADLINE ZAMBIAN MUSIC LEGENDS CONCERT

STATEMENT: Lusaka, Friday, August 4 2023 – Brand-Line Africa and Smooth Production Insight, today signed Five Legendary Zambian Musicians to headline the Zambian Music Legends Concert, to be held on September 30 2023 at the Polo Grounds.
The five musicians are General Ozzy, Angela Nyirenda, Moses Sakala, James Chamanyazi and Leo Moyo.
The Zambian Music Legends Concert will celebrate the musicians who laid a foundation for modern day music in Zambia, explore the rich history and significance of the unique sound of the 90s and early 2000s.
Brand-Line Africa Managing Director Luyando Yoyo Ngwenya has emphasized the need to preserve and celebrate Zambian Music.
Ms. Yoyo says music is an essential part of any nations cultural heritage and must be preserved at all cost.
Smooth Production Insight Managing Director, Innocent Kalaluka, said he is excited that this project is bringing together the Legends to reignite the love of original Zambian music.
And Music icon Moses Sakala from the eminent Sakala Brothers Music Band has commended Brand-Line Africa and Smooth Production Insight for honouring Legendary Zambian Musicians.

“I am glad that you are branding Zambian Music Legends and it is my hope that this initiative will be turned into an annual event because it is a great thing to expose Zambian musicians in this manner,” he said.
Other artists to take part include; Mampi, Nasty D, Izrael, Nalu and JK.
Supporting artists will include; Choklet, Haamoba, Shatel, Ty2, Sista D, Maureen Lilanda, Ruff Kid, Tommy Dee, MC Wabwino and James Sakala.
