XYZ Cares Foundation empowers Lusaka woman!

XYZ Cares Foundation, today donated assorted foodstuffs to a woman of Mandevu compound.

Catherine Nkaza who has been taking care of her 105-year-old mother was today in tears when she got help from the Lusaka based foundation.

Foundation Chairperson, and renowned rapper, Mwila Musonda, known by his stage name Slapdee says he was moved by the woman’s story and felt obligated to come to her aid, by making her life better in a small way.

Musonda says the foundation is equal to the task of changing lives of many vulnerable people in different parts of Zambia.

Catherine Nkaza of Lusaka’s Mandevu compound narrated on how almost on a daily basis had to leave her 105-year-old sick mother locked in the house so that she could go out to look for food.

Nkaza expressed tears of joy by the gesture from the foundation to make her a makeshift shop and assorted goods to start up a business.

And XYZ board member, Annie Sakala, reiterated the foundation’s resolve to continue assisting the family whenever possible.

The Help rendered to the woman by the foundation comes after ABN TV reporter Idah banda Musakanya, profiled the woman’s vulnerability.
